AUDIENCES will soon see “Game of Thrones” Conan Stevens on Philippine television soon with the remake of the GMA Network’s fantaserye “Encantadia” that will soon air on July 18.
According to a GMA News report, Conan, who played Ser Gregor Clegane (a.k.a. “The Mountain That Rides” or simply, the Mountain) on “GoT” has confirmed that he will be joining the fantasy series but could not yet reveal his character.
“I can’t talk about it but I can say that I tend to get typecasted. So you can probably expect more of the same. Big, imposing, I tend to get those roles,” Conan told GMA News.
Prior to the big announcement, “Encantadia” director Mark Reyes has given hints on his Instagram account with some captions used as “We GOT him,” with the hashtag #guesswhoscomingtoEnca, among others.
Rocco Nacino, who plays the warrior character Aquil, reposted a previous photo he and Direk Mark had with Conan last June.
Conan stands 7-feet tall and hails from Australia. Aside from acting, he is a “scriptwriter, computer geek, non-competitive bodybuilder and ex-professional wrestling champion.”
