FEISTY talent manager Annabelle Rama broke down in the middle of the press conference of her family’s reality television show “It Takes Gutz to be Gutierrez.”
The reason behind her tears was her beauty-queen-turned-actress daughter Ruffa Gutierrez’s unexplainable medical condition and near-death experience.
In a video conference from ABS-CBN, the Gutierrez matriarch said she’s now trying to avoid any misunderstanding with her only daughter Ruffa who lost her pulse and breathing for five minutes.
Ruffa had already consulted medical doctors but they couldn’t find anything wrong with her. Annabelle said she now plans to bring her daughter to Singapore for a doctor’s second opinion.
After breaking into tears, her husband Eddie Gutierrez spoke on her behalf.
So panoorin n’yo na lang, it’s going to be shown on TV,” he said.
Ruffa, after witnessing her mother’s breakdown, was teary-eyed.
“I’m so happy you care about me pala Mom, ‘no? Akala ko you don’t care anymore,” Ruffa said.
The mother-daughter relationship has been on the rocks ever since Annabelle has been vocal about her dislike of Ruffa’s boyfriend Jordan Mouyal.
To be sure lang.
Meanwhile, Ruffa plans to consult with a spiritualist.
The 42-year-old actress claimed that she had been experiencing weird things early in the morning.
When asked if she was possessed, Ruffa said, “Parang ganoon ang feeling. Kasi hindi ko maalala, e. I was doing things na I didn’t know… parang I was acting in a strange way.”
The said incident with Ruffa will be seen in the fourth season of “It takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez.”
