THE COUNTRY’S top police officer might be tough in leading the war against drug personalities but his soft side is equally comical, charming his way to millions of Filipinos nationwide.

On Thursday, Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa took some time off from his busy schedule to enjoy a few minutes of celebrity fame as he guested on Trabahula, a special segment of ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime.”

Host and comedian Vice Ganda shared a photo of them with Dela Rosa along with fellow hosts Anne Curtis, Karylle, Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, Ryan Bang and Amy Perez.

“Gen. Bato rocks Showtime!”the caption read.

As of writing, the hashtag #ShowtimeRocks became a top trending topic in the Philippines on Twitter.

Dela Rosa dropped by on “It’s Showtime” to visit Vice Ganda after his guesting to the comedian’s Sunday night show “Gandang Gabi Vice” got cancelled after President Rodrigo Duterte called an emergency meeting.

He played to guess which of the madlang workers is the real rice planter.

The player must guess who’s the one of four madlang workers is the true worker of a specific job featured in the game to get P20,000 and the true worker gets P10,000.

But if the player failed to do so, the P20,000 will be divided equally to the four worker which is P5,000 each and the fake worker that the player identifies receives an additional P5,000.
