By: Norman V. Mendoza September 04,2016 - 01:41 PM

ABOUT 1,500 people including the surrenderers joined an anti-drug rally spearheaded by the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) at the Mandaue City Sports Complex Sunday morning.

The program started with a march rally and ended back at the complex. Acting Mandaue City police chief Senior Supt. Roberto Alanas said they distributed leaflets, food, and T-shirts to surrenderers.

The T-shirts were printed with the words “Batukan nato ang druga, Gubaton nato ang Durogista.”

A covenant to fight against illegal drugs signing followed and the program ended with a zumba activity.
