AFTER surviving a failed marriage, actress Sunshine Cruz and Ismael “Macky” Mathay IV, half-brother of Ara Mina may have both found refuge in each other’s arms.
This was after a candid photo of them holding hands while crossing a pedestrian lane have went viral online over the weekend. Are they dating?
According to a Pep report, the two have just recently been hanging out. The article further explained that Macky and his wife have been separated for more than a year now, erasing doubts that Sunshine could be the reason of their break-up.
An entertainment news website also reported the separation of Ismael and his wife Camille Fariñas, daughter of Congressman Rudy Fariñas of Ilocos Norte. Sunshine separated from actor Cesar Montano three years ago but their marriage has not yet been annulled.
Meanwhile, actress Ara Mina is mum about the report and refused to confirm the dating rumors, saying she is not in the position to speak about her younger brother’s relationship with Sunshine.
Though it was not clear how the two met, Ara said she learned that it was her brother Ismael who approached Sunshine to introduce himself.
On his Instagram account, Ismael posted a photo of an opening of a restaurant three weeks ago where he could be seen with Sunshine and his sister Ara.
