CEBU’S Leylam FC is putting up a strong showing in the ongoing Saigon 7’s Cup in Vietnam over the weekend.
The team is running second in its group with two wins and a single defeat. It trails Phu Hang FC, which has three wins. Instead FC has one win and one loss to trail Leylam FC while Lai Ba United is at the bottom of the standings with a 0-3 card.
Leylam FC opened its campaign with a 0-1, defeat against Phu Hang FC but bounced back strong by scoring a 3-0 victory over Instead FC.
Leylam FC chalked up another win by beating Lai Ba United FC, 2-0.
The Oliver Colina-coached Leylam FC is composed of Rene Sanchez Jr., Jason Domagtoy, Evren, Baris, Ugur and Cem Tasci, Ruffy Llorente, Michael Pacite, Harris Segovia, Abelardo Salinas and Ranulfo Colina.
The team is competing in the tournament as part of its preparation for the 18th Aboitiz Football Cup men’s open where it is the defending champion.
