The Parent-Teacher Association of the of Oneworld Montessori House (OWMH) presents “One World, One Music: A Christmas Serenade” on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., at the Saint Theresa’s College auditorium.

The concert will feature the Visayas Symphony Orchestra, tenor Kelly Ko and homegrown talents from the OWMH.

This Christmas concert is intended to raise funds for “The Farm,” an accredited drug rehabilitation center in Mambaling, Talamban and Minglanilla that caters to those suffering from substance abuse.

“We chose The Farm as our beneficiary so we can contribute positively in solving the country’s drug problem. We believe that rehabilitation is part of the solution and The Farm addresses the need as they even take in indigent drug users,” says Dr. Jocelyn Kintanar, school administrator of OWMH.

OWMH PTA president Madonna Rivera who also directs the show shares that music is a universal language understood by all, regardless of social
status and station. “It is a powerful tool for healing and rehabilitation. That is our core message: music is life,” she says.

Tickets to the concert are available at OWMH and at the Ayala Center Cebu concierge; and Abasseria Cafe & Deli. For more info, call teacher Janice at 266-8191.

Add to them guest artist Kristin Aldana Lerin who alternates with Penelope Ong as the evil fairy
Carabosse.

Aside from Johanna, CCD was well represented by Allen Arvin Tan, member of the board and treasurer, and senior faculty members Mary Poblete Chan and Carmen Cabaero (secretary).

Allen’s mom Mayen Angbetic Tan was also present, telling us that she has three granddaughters in The Sleeping Beauty: Margaret Therese, Sabrina Noelle and Elizabeth Lianne Tan.
