RONAN Isidro and Janjan Auditor came up with solid games to help their teams stay unbeaten in the San Remigio Beach Club-backed Monday Squad Basketball-Cebu (MSBC) Season 2 over the weekend at the Casal’s Village Gym in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.
Isidro fired a tournament-high 33 points to lead the SG-ARQ Builders’ second straight win via an 82-76 beating of In This Corner (ITC).
SG-ARQ of Jason Arquisola also got 13 markers each from JJ Gesalem and Ger Sala, while Kheldon Sereno donated 11 markers for the Builders.
Kenneth Abrantes tallied 26 points and James Cabilino had 13 for the losing ITC dribblers.
Auditor, on the other hand, collected 23 points as the Hard Court Kings of playing team owner Mark Anthony Ynoc also improved to 2-0 (win-loss) by beating MJ-Z Collections 101, 83-72.
Paco Delantar, Larke Bacatan and Urleo Rizane backed Auditor with a combined 48 points.
Jason Largo tallied 26 markers to lead MJ-Z.
In other matches, Mark Matidios scattered 16, while Archie Dungog produced 14 in Tribu’s 79-75 win over the Warriors, 79-75, while Aspa prevailed over defending champion Silogan Ni Gian, 64-61, behind Chris de la Rama’s 21 markers.
