IT WAS a good start for online sensation and actor Kimpoy Feliciano who made his first appearance on GMA’s newest television series “Inday Will
Always Love You” last Tuesday.
The hashtag #KimpoyOn-IWALY became the number one topic on Twitter Philippines on the same day.
The 25-year-old online sensation expressed his gratitude to his followers and fans.
“Thank you so much mga mahal! Iba pa rin talaga kayo! Sobrang lakas! Love you! #KimpoyOnIWALY,” he said.
In the series, Feliciano plays Frank, the close friend of Patrick, the character played by actor Derrick Monasterio.
Frank’s debut last Tuesday started with an exchange of “hugot” lines with Kimberlou, played by Super Tekla (Romeo Librado in real life).
Frank disembarked from his car and asked Kimberlou, “Hi miss, miss nga ba o mistake?”
“Anong kailangan?” Kimberlou answered.
“Barya ka ba?” said Frank.
Kimberlou, who did not directly answer him, countered, “Hala siya. Manlilimos?! Anong barya?”
“Barya ka ba? Kasi kailangan kita sa umaga eh,” Frank said while putting his arm over Kimberlou’s shoulder.
Another exchange of “hugot” lines followed.
“Wag kang ganyan. Marupok ako. Madali akong mag-fall, sige ka,” Kimberlou said.
Frank told Kimberlou, “Kayang kaya naman kitang saluhin kung sakaling ma-fall ka.”
Frank was looking for Patrick then. But Kimberlou did not end the scene without her own “hugot” line.
“Nandito ba siya (Patrick)? Kailan daw balik?,” he asked.
“Eh kung Pagasa nga ’di alam o ’di na pre-predict ang tamang panahon, ako pa kaya?” Kimberlou said.
It turned out that Patrick was on a trip out of town with Happylou, played by Barbie Forteza.
“Inday Will Always Love You” is Feliciano’s second series with GMA after “With a Smile” in 2013, headlined by Christian Bautista, Andrea Torres, and Mikael Daez.
