Militant groups issued a manifesto denouncing the spate of killings in the city and province to the Police Regional Office Thursday.
Chief Supt. Debold Sinas, Police Regional Office chief, said he received the manifesto from the Nagpakabanang Sugbuanon alang sa Kinabuhi ug Hustisya (NASUKHU) comprised of 49 Cebu-based groups.
The groups, who presented the manifesto after a march rally from the University of San Carlos main campus to Jones Avenue, called on local governments in Cebu to launch their own investigations into the killings and “ensure that those involved are held accountable.” /Delta Dyrecka Letigio, USJ-R Journalism Intern
