FOR Mariah Gelina Lequin, the experiences and memories she will have with Binibining Cebu 2018 are more than wearing a crown.
“This world-class pageant is something girls should not miss,” she said.
Lequin is proud of Bogo’s delicacy called pintos, which is made of young corn mixed with milk and sugar.
It comes in different flavors such as cheese, buko, and chocolate.
The city boasts attractions and landmarks such as the Capitancillo Islet and the Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Shrine, which is frequented by pilgrims.

ONE of the newbies in this year’s pageant, Teri Marina Colmenares is grateful to be given the opportunity to be among the 54 candidates.
“I just feel so blessed to be a part of this journey and I am just enjoying and learning from it as well,” she said.
She thanked her family and friends who are her inspirations.
Colmenares describes Carmen as a town “with a refreshing view of the blue seas and green mountains.”
The town is also the home of the Cebu Safari and Adventure Park which has 111 species of animals and over a million of orchids.
“Carmen is a town you can easily fall in love. With the help of social media, it will not be long until the tourism and economic potentials in our town will rise,” she answered when asked how she would promote their town.
