AFTER the success of the award-winning movie “Signal Rock,” actor Christian Bables is headlining another movie film.
Titled “Recipe For Love,” the movie also stars former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Cora Waddell.
The official trailer was released on YouTube last October 30 by Regal Films.
“Is there a perfect recipe for Love for imperfect lovers?” the post reads.
The trailer opens by introducing Bables’ character, Calix, a chef, and owner of an unpopular restaurant.
He meets a food blogger named Valerie, Waddell’s character during an argument inside his restaurant.
“Teka lang ah. Bago ka magsigawan diyan at eskandalo sa restaurant ko, sino ka ba?” Calix tells Valerie.
One day, Calix finds himself needing Valerie’s help to promote his restaurant. The two end up dating each other.
“Can I ask you out for lunch?” he asks.
“Calix, nilalandi mo ba ako?” she answers.
Directed by Jose Javier Reyes, “Recipe for Love” is set to open in Philippine cinemas on November 21.
It also stars Agot Isidro, Ogie Diaz and Bing Loyzaga.
This is Bables’ second lead role after “Signal Rock,” an official entry to the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) in August this year.
“Recipe for Love” is Waddell’s first lead role after joining PBB in 2016. She was part of the supporting cast of “Woke Up Like This” (2017), “Talk Back and You’re Dead” (2014), and “Diary ng Panget: The Movie” (2014).
