It was a beefy and meaty night topped with musical and fun entertainment as the Sunpride Foods, Inc. (SFI) launches their very first easy open can products, the Sunpride Premium Corned Beef.
After 47 years in the industry, the Cebu-seeded company successfully added and launched the new product dubbing the event as “Sunpride Premium Corned Beef Grand Launching: Enjoy the Taste Wherever, Whenever!” last Saturday evening, November 17, at the Sugbo Mercado in I.T. Park, Cebu City.
Opening the prestigious event, few local entertainers showcased their talents including the Wonggoys who performed some songs from their 2017 album High Hello as well as their latest and first Bisaya single “Wa’y Blema”.
Other performers was the Sinulog Idol 2018 second runner-up Shenahia Postreno who sang Ariana Grande’s Bang Bang and Cebuana Youtube sensation Raphaiel Shannon who featured Moira Dela Torre’s songhits.
Following the musical intro was the introduction of the product.
“With objectivity, Sunpride Premium Corned Beef is really delicious with enticing aroma which emits a meaty and beefy goodness,” Don Hanley Wong, SFI Marketing Manager, said.
“With this particular corned beef, we deliver in quality, we deliver in taste, we deliver on how delicious it is, and, of course, at a budget-friendly price. So if you compare our corned beef to other brands out there, we are actually cheaper” Wong added.
The revelation of their new product also highlights its new feature which is the easy open can and according to Wong, ” We want everyone to experience convenience. So right from the shelves of supermarkets to your homes, you can easily open it, smell its aroma and have a taste of it right there and then.”
The event was attended by SFI’s suppliers and buyers.
Aside from the newly-launched product, SFI have been distributing their other products such as Holiday Conrned Beefs, Holiday Beef Loafs and Kassel Fine Sausages and Hams.
The latter company also distributes frozen processed goods.
Upcoming for the company is their soon-to-open third factory outlet which will be located at Talisay City, Cebu./Ray Charlie Diaz
