A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl was found dead in an apparent case of suicide in barangay Poblacion, Tabuelan town, northern Cebu.
Police said Brishella Apari was found by her mother hanging by her neck from the beam of their kitchen at around 9 a.m. Thursday.
There were no signs of struggle in the house that would suggest foul play was involved in the girl’s death, said Insp. Alfredo Kuhay.
Police said only the girl and her two siblings were at home during the incident as her father, a construction worker, was at work while her mother was also out claiming relief goods./INTERN KRISTAL A. EDUYAN
