University of Southern Philippines soars high in the recently concluded Cebu Goes Culinary on July 25-26 at SM Trade Hall. The event, which was organized by the Hotel Resort and Restaurant Association Of Cebu, Inc. (HRRAC), gathered different universities and colleges across the region to compete in different categories.
The highlight was the food showdown dubbed as “Chef Wars” in which USPF emerged as the Regional Champion. The university was also declared champion in the Creative Cakes category with the theme “Under the Sea” which was performed by Flint Abadino with Mrs. Da Combate as coach. USPF also placed in the following: 3rd in Torta Wars, 4th in Table Setting (Debut for Him) , 4th in the Chocolate Chamber Challenge.
The team will fly to Manila for the national competition on September 23-25.
