THE ALASKA Basketball D-League 2014 reaches its penultimate stage this weekend as the championship games in the different divisions get underway at the Magis Eagles Arena inside the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) campus in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.
On Sunday, in the under-10 division, the University of San Carlos (USC) battles the University of the Visayas (UV) for the title even as UV-B takes aim at the under-15 division 1 crown against the hosts, SHS-AdC. USC and SHS-AdC then renew their rivalry in the under-12 division 1 class when they clash for all the marbles.
Don Bosco Liloan also guns for the under-15 division 2 crown against Southwestern University while UV Mandaue tackles SCSIT for the under-14 division 2 title.
In the under-17 division 1, SHS-AdC await the winner of the semifinals battle between the UV and USC-North, which will happen on Saturday at the SHS-AdC basketball courts along Mango Avenue.
Also happening during that day will be the semifinals of the under-12 division 2 as CIC-Mandaue takes on UV-B while Ormoc faces off against St. Benedict.
