A four-year-old boy was injured after he was hit by a passing police patrol car in barangay Poblacion 1, Carcar City Sunday night.
John Clyde Cabucayan Cui crossed the street when the patrol car of Carcar City Police driven by PO1 Eduardo Ocoy passed by on its way to the nearby town of Sibonga.
Ocoy was with PO3 Nelson Mendaros on their way to verify a report that a carnapping suspect was sighted in the area.
Ocoy brought the wounded boy to the Carcar Provincial Hospital on the patrol car.
The victim was later transferred to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) for treatment.
