Capitol employees test positive for drug use

By: Victor Anthony V. Silva October 19,2015 - 05:44 PM

Two outsourced utility employees working in different offices outside the Capitol compound tested positive for shabu use earlier today.

The Cebu Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Commission (CPADAC) tested 22 employees assigned t the Capitol motorpool, Central Command, and the provincial police office.

The random drug test was conducted after an IQ exam for promotion to job-order status. Job order or outsourced employees are relieved once they test positive for drug use.

Regular employees still have to undergo due process.
