GREENWICH, the country’s foremost pizza and pasta chain, recently unveiled the pizzeria look for its store at SM City Cebu.
In a press conference for its endorser John Lloyd Cruz, Greenwich retail marketing officer Mavel Villanueva shared that it has always been their mission to “strengthen relationships through bonding and sharing over the best-tasting pizzas and pastas” and that they want to give more delightful moments to their customers whenever they dine at Greenwich.
The pizzeria concept was achieved because Greenwich is a pizza and pasta restaurant, “therefore, we need to look like one.”
“We want to stay true to what we offer and that is pizza and pasta, that’s why it’s pizzeria,” Villanueva adds.
As for its look, the Greenwich pizzeria is a combination of mid-century and industrial style. The mid-century style is reflected in the use of traditional elements like wood, bricks and the pizzeria showcase window where diners can see for themselves how freshly-made their pizzas are. The industrial look is in the metal duct tapes, exposed ceilings, industrial bars and tables and the digital menu board, among others. On its walls are colorful and fun graphics.
There are now 38 Greenwich pizzeria stores nationwide and the one at SM City Cebu is the first pizzeria store in Cebu.
A reflection of what Greenwich is about is its endorser John Lloyd Cruz, who keeps on innovating and finding new things to offer to his audience. A regular of the ABS-CBN sitcom “Home Sweetie Home,” alongside Toni Gonzaga, Cruz is working on a new dramatic movie with Bea Alonzo and was in Toronto recently for the international premiere of his film “Honor Thy Father,” a suspense-thriller directed by Erik Matti.
Villanueva says Cruz embodies the personality of Greenwich: “Young, hip, fun and trendy and yet
approachable.”
A Greenwich endorser for seven years now, Cruz said: “It’s my second longest endorsement deal to date. I’m glad that I am still part of the family. I am very lucky kasi bihira ang umaabot nang ganito katagal ‘yung partnership.”
