A DAY before the much anticipated Sinulog Grand Parade, the local sports scene will still be action-packed as the Sinulog Badminton Open Tournament will resume this Saturday at the Metrosports Center in Lahug.
The “Sinulog Bunal og Kusog” Cup, which was originally slated Jan. 9 and 10, will hold the games of the shorthanded Adult Division this Saturday aftyre last week’s Age Group competitions.
The Adult Division was moved to a later date due to lack of registered participants.
Registration is still ongoing until today for Levels E and G Men’s and Ladie’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Level F Mixed Doubles will also still be open for interested participants.
The White Feathers Badminton Club-organized event will feature Levels G, F, E, CD, and the premier Open Level with cash prizes and trophies going to the winners.
