AFTER HOLDING a seminar workshop on basketball officiating in Bantayan Island last month, the Cebu Provincial Sports Commission (CPSC) will be heading to Camotes Island to conduct a basketball clinic this April 7 to 9 as part of developing the grassroots talents of provincial athletes.
The camp is also aimed at scouting potential players who will represent the Province of Cebu in the upcoming regional and national competitions.
Staff trainers and coaches will help with the training of the grassroots athletes, said CPSC Chairman Brando Velasquez.
The camp, which is open for all ages, will tackle the basics of the sport such as passing, dribbling and shooting.
