POLICE arrested a registered nurse for allegedly keeping a sachet of shabu in Barangay Suba, Cebu City, last Monday.

Henry Saso, 43, was caught after he bought a pack of shabu while police were conducting an anti-illegal drug operation in the place, said Senior Insp. Narolf Tan of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).

“He was caught in the act of bringing shabu,” he said.

Saso, a nurse assigned at one of the hospitals in uptown Cebu City, is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly for possession of illegal drugs.

Tan said they also recovered a video from Saso’s cellular phone that showed the suspect sniffing illegal drugs.
