Lexmark ends Supportsave’s 19-game win streak

THE LEXMARK put an end to Supportsave’s amazing streak, beating the Dragons, 62-57, last Sunday in the Elite Classic of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.

Sylvester Millevo, Bertvincel Santillan, Vill Duero and Franco Angelo Cipriano had solid games to help the Stallions log their third victory in four games.

Millevo fired 19 points, Santillan scattered 13, Duero collected 12, while Cipriano piled up seven points, 13 rebounds, two blocks, two assists and a steal.

Supportsave saw its 19-game win streak, losing for the first time since last year when it won the EVO League crown.
Dropping to 3-1 (win-loss) in the season, the Dragons were once again led by Niño Belande, who netted 23 markers. He was backed by Justin Marie Mier, who scored 11.

In the other Elite Classic match, the Accenture Sharks snatched their third win in as many games by dumping the SSI Warriors, 90-52.

Ryan Edward Llanos posted 18 points, Archie Brian Vincent Batua and Junas Marion Misa pitched in 11 apiece to power the Sharks.

Rex Alinson wound up with 16 points and Dennis Noel Poquita chipped in 11 for the Warriors, who fell to 0-3.

In the EVO League, the Contact Solutions Flying Lemurs and The Results Spartans stayed undefeated after beating separate opponents.

Both climbing to 4-0, the Flying Lemurs escaped the Optum Knights, 55-51, while the Spartans drubbed Streamline, 84-50.

Japhet Tuanzon paced Contact Solutions with 15 points, while Vincent Ranile contributed 10.

Jade Seno produced 24 points to lead The Results.
