According to SOF1 Noel Codilla of Mandaue City Fire Station, said the fire originated at the second floor of the building and immediately spread towards the adjacent offices.

Codilla said firefighters had a hard time controlling the fire due to the presence of Ammonia which is used as an antimicrobial agent in meat products.

No one was reportedly injured, said Codilla.

Damage is pegged at P250,000 and investigation in the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
