The 41-year-old woman who accused the police chief of Alcoy town of shooting her with an airsoft gun during a raid in a gambling den in barangay Guiwang, Alcoy town last April 9 sought assistance from the Cebu provincial police.

“Dili jud nako siya mapasaylo, ganahan nako siya mataktak sa trabaho (I cannot forgive him. I want to see him fired from his job),” Ledina Antig told reporters earlier today.

Antig brought a medical certificate issued by the Alcoy municipal health office that indicated the wounds she sustained on both her legs that were caused by the airsoft gun fired by Senior Insp. Jomar Medil, Alcoy police chief.

She also brought four gun pellets which she claimed she recovered from the area. Senior Insp. Wilson Abot, chief of the Provincial Investigation and Detection Management Branch (PIDMB) who heads the investigation, called on Antig to produce more evidence to support her case against Medil.
