A fire gutted one residence in Highway 77, barangay Talamban, Cebu city.
The fire department received the alarm at 1:03 p.m. from one of the residents of St. Anthony Village in Talamban.
SFO2 Edgardgo Gabapo, fire investigator said an an electric short circuit caused the fire. It was however controlled five minutes after and was declared fire out at 2:31 p.m.
No one was reported hurt in the incident.
