A 40-YEAR-OLD call center agent was arrested for allegedly raping his 14-year-old daughter.
The man was arrested in his workplace at IT Park in barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
The father is facing two counts of rape.
Arrest warrants were issued by Cebu City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Bienvenido Saniel of Branch 20 and RTC Judge Judge Jose Nathaniel Andal of Branch 24.
Police said the man was considered one of the 10 most wanted persons by the Fuente Police Station and was a former worker of a nongovernment organization advocating the protection of children’s rights.
The man’s wife accompanied the police during the arrest. The abuse happened last year while the wife was working abroad.
