Sorongon wins again

RUFFA Sorongon continued her dominance in local footraces as she clinched her 10th title of the year in yesterday’s Cebu Leg of the nationwide “Run 4 Ur Future” that started and finished at the Cebu Business Park.

Sorongon dominated the 16-kilometer female division with a time of one hour, eight minutes and six seconds.

Lizane Abella finished second with 1:09:05 and April Flynn was at third with 1:12:03.

In the men’s 16k race, Kenyans Joseph Mururi and Erick Chipsiror had a one-two finish, clocking ed in 53: 39 and 53:44, respectively.

Benjamin Sanchez claimed the third spot with 1:05:03.

In the 10k race, Rafael Piscos and Cresabel Cadion were the fastest finishers at 34:48 and 43:27 respectively.

In the 5k race, Prince Joey Lee dominated the men’s division at 17:01 while Cheska Rago topped the distaff side with 28:58.

In the 3k race, Jeremy Solon (13:27) and Mark Domie Dinoy (11:24) topped the men and women’s categories, respectively.
