Lapu traffic chief in stable condition

By: Norman V. Mendoza August 07,2016 - 02:37 PM

Lapu-Lapu City traffic chief Frank Brazil is now on stable condition after an overnight operation at the hospital.

He sustained two gunshot wounds in his back and only one slug from a .45 pistol was found embedded in his back. The slug didn’t hit a rib bone. Had it went through his body, it could have pierced his heart and cost him his life, doctors said.

Police are looking at the apprehension of undocumented tricycles and passenger jeepneys and the dismissal of some traffic enforcers that tested positive for illegal drug use as motives behind the attack.
