The Converters moved atop the standings in the Elite Classic after they nipped the Telstra Boomerangs, 68-56, while the Generals grabbed the No. 1 spot in the EVO League rankings by downing the Kyocera Frontiers, 65-48, in a battle of unbeaten teams.

Archie Brian Batua delivered 25 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and four steals, while Julian Kyle Suerte pitched in 11 markers as the Sharks climbed to 3-2.

Sylvester Millevo scattered 17 points, while Franco Angelo Cipriano bounced back from a sub-par performance in their last game as he piled up 16 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks, three assists and a steal as the duo powered the Stallions’ third victory against a single loss.
