Suspected pusher killed in buy bust, female accomplice nabbed
A SUSPECTED drug pusher was shot down while his alleged female runner was arrested in a buy bust operation in Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City Wednesday morning.
The suspect was identified as Dem Montealto, a native of San Remegio town who resided in sitio Yellowville, barangay Kalunasan.
Police said Montealto drew out his gun as he saw the police officers approaching him and fired at one of them.
Taken from him were one .45 pistol, one packet believed to contain shabu, two cell phones, two disposable lighters, shabu paraphernalia and P2,210 in proceeds.
Police identified the 28-year-old female runner as Cheryl Morales. She faces charges of illegal drug possession. / USJ-R Intern Dafne Wenceslao
