The Mandaue City government turned over six new patrol cars worth P1 million each to the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) Tuesday morning.

Mandaue City Mayor Gabriel Luis “Luigi” Quisumbing and Vice-Mayor Carlo Fortuna personally turned over the keys of the patrol cars to Senior Supt. Roberto Alanas, Mandaue City police chief.

“We will buy four more vehicles to the police next year including two or three double cab pickups which can be used during emergencies like floods as well as firearms and communication equipment,” Quisumbing said.

Alanas thanked the Mandaue City government for providing them with patrol cars which will be distributed to six police precincts.
