Man in drugs watch list gunned down

A man who is in the drugs watch list of the San Fernando Police Station was gunned down by men riding in tandem in Barangay South Poblacion on Monday afternoon.

Bobby Vargasa, 44, died from a gunshot wound on his head.

PO1 Salvador Saavedra of San Fernando Police Station said Vargasa was walking on his way home when the still unidentified backrider aimed a .38 caliber revolver on his head and fired.

Witnesses said that the suspects, who were both wearing bonnets, immediately left on board their getaway motorcycle.

Saavedra said Vargasa is number 7 in the police drugs watch list.
