Pescos, Sorongon rule Capitol run

RAFAEL Pescos and Ruffa Sorongon topped the 20-kilometer race of the Cebu Province Anniversary Run Sunday morning.

The race was held in line with the 447th founding anniversary of the Cebu Province. It started and ended at the Cebu Provincial Capitol grounds.

Official times of the winners were not available at press time.

Prince Joey Lee placed second and Jayson Agravante third in the men’s side.

Lizane Abella and Marivic Mari placed second and third, respectively in the distaff side.

In the 10k race, winners were Ariel Saballa and Crisabel Cadion.

3k grassroots category top runners were Nyko Archival and Charity Binolatao.

All of the winning runners received cash prizes after the race.
