Talisay resident shot dead while eating breakfast
A RESIDENT of Sitio Rattan, Barangay Tangke in Talisay City was unable to finish eating breakfast after being shot by an unidentified gunman at 6 a.m. Monday.
PO1 James Cabrillos of the Talisay City police identified the victim as Amasony Flores, a resident of the area and a native of Minglanilla town, Cebu. Flores sustained two gunshot wounds on the back of his head.
He was rushed to the Talisay City district hospital but failed to make it. Supt. Aileen Recla, chief of the Talisay City police, said rampant illegal drug activity occurs in the area where Flores lived in.
