The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency were still verifying whether Cebuano businessman Peter Lim had left the country.
Lim was being investigated by the National Bureau of Investigation if he had any links to drugs.
Chief Supt. Noli Talino of PRO-7 said, although there was no order to look for Lim, PRO-7 would still like to know where he was.
Leslie Salva, Lim’s Cebu lawyer, said he did not know where his client was since he had not spoken with him recently, but his Manila lawyer, Ramon Esguerra, who said earlier that Lim was still in Cebu, would be in a better position to know where Lim was.
