Cebuano Olmilla eyes repeat in today’s NDC

By: John Carlo Villaruel September 17,2016 - 10:07 PM

AROUND this time last year, Cebuano duathlete Joland Olmilla kicked off his duathlon career in style as he won the 20-24 age group category of the National Duathlon Championships (NDC) in Cebu.

Today, Olmilla hopes to replicate that magnificent performance but this time in a much tougher field as he competes in the elite division of the NDC – Race for the Iloilo River in Iloilo City.

“My goal is to make it to the top five or even in the top three” said Olmilla.

Aside from Olmilla, fellow Cebuano Chobie Dueñas will be returning to action after missing the final leg of the Pilipinas Duathlon Series (PDS) last month in Pampanga due to conflict of his schedules in school.
