A THREE year old girl was confined to a hospital after being hit by a stray bullet fired by motorcycle riding gunmen in Sitio Hill Top, Barangay Casili Consolacion town in Cebu at 7 pm last Monday.
PO1 Raymond Lleve, police desk officer of the Consolacion town, said the assailants were targeting 35-year-old Michael Colina, a resident of the area who surrendered to the police last month.
The girl identified as Daenerys Jaihanna Catagena was buying something at a store when she was hit by a stray bullet in the right leg.
Both Colina, who sustained gunshot wounds in his body and Catagena were rushed to the hospital by police while the assailants headed to Mandaue City. The two vicims were in stable condition.
