MOTORCYCLE riding gunmen shot dead a former ronda tanod near his home in barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City at 8:55 pm last Tuesday.

He said Cañonejo was shot several times at close range by the assailants who sped away after the incident.

The victim was rushed to the Mandaue District Hospital and died an hour later.

Cañonejo didn’t surrender during the police Oplan TokHang.
