Thresher sharks found in vessel along San Remigio

ABOUT 19 thresher sharks weighing 50 kilos each were found in a vessel that allegedly fished along the waters of Hagnaya, San Remigio town.

The vessel was caught by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-7) together with the Cebu Provincial Anti-Illegal Fishing Task Force and the regional Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-7).

The vessel was found in an area along the Tañon Strait known as a protected seascape.
