A 28-year-old man died, while his companion was injured after the motorcycle they were riding in rammed into a road railing along Barangay Tulik, Argao town, southern Cebu.

Ian Pescadero, 28, of Barangay Suwa, Argao, died instantly after he suffered a broken skull, while his backrider and neighbor, Jeffrey John Devis, 30, sustained injuries.

PO1 Cresencio Nero of Argao Police Station said the two were allegedly under the influence of liquor and were heading home after attending a fiesta celebration in the adjacent barangay when the incident occurred.

Pescadero was driving downhill with a curve when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the railing.
