AFTER initially laying down plans to revitalize the near-dead commercial basketball scene here in Cebu, Buddy Encarnado is set to bring an example of things to come as he will bring the opening of the Pilipinas Commercial Basketball League to Cebu
The target date for the tournament is Oct. 21–23.
The development was bared by Van Halen Parmis, a basketball coach who is helping Encarnado lay down the foundation of the Cebu chapter of the PCBL.
Though the details have yet to be finalized, Parmis said that TV5 will remain as the television partner of the league.
The Jumbo Plastic Linoleum Giants are gunning for their third straight championship but expects to get resistance from Mighty Sports, Foton, Biyaheng SCTEX, Sta. Lucia and the Supremo Lex Builders.
