JOEVINCE Canizares had a monster of a game to lead the Canizares Architects to an 88–52 crushing of the Fighter Wine in the 1st URBAN Basketball League – Island Premium Paints Squad Cup 2016 last weekend at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball courts.
Canizares just went haywire as he compiled a whopping 35 points and 24 rebounds laced with two steals and a block to help his team remain unbeaten in division A with a 4–0 (win-loss) card.
In other matches in the same division, the Young Guns notched their fourth win in five tries with a 64–50 win over ITC.
Mighty Bee (3–2) also emerged triumphant over the LC Boyz (1–4), 74–72, while Kaixon evened up its record to 2–2 with an 82–70 victory over Veco.
In division B, ASPA (5–0) pushed their winning streak to five games after edging the Royal Brothers (4–1), 58–57, in a game between the two division leaders.
