DORMAKABA remained in a class all on its own as it kept its record clean with a 69–61 win over the erstwhile unbeaten Davies Paints in the Architects + Engineers Basketball Association Corporate Cup on Sunday at the Cebu Eastern College gym.
Dormakaba got solid contributions from Jessie Paradero, who had 15 points and seven rebounds, and Niel Benedicto, who logged a double-double of 13 points and 10 boards.
Dormakaba dominated the first 30 minutes of play and cruised to its fourth win in as many outings while handing Davies Paints its first loss in four games.
In other games, Megabond grabbed its second win in four tries with a 60-55 win over Olympus.
Duane Anino led the squad to victory as he scored 14 points, pulled down seven boards and added two steals and two blocks to send Olympus to its third loss against a single victory .
Fenestram also registered its first win of the competition with a 47–42 win over Phoenix.
Niel Bacus led the way for Fenestram with 11 points, seven boards and two assists to create a three-way tie at the bottom.
