Security guard killed by speeding truck

A SECURITY guard died after being hit by a dump truck along the South Coastal Road near Barangay Tangke in Talisay City at dawn Friday.
PO1 Carlos Dicdican of the Talisay City police said the victim identified as Floro Lagahit, a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Talisay City and an employee of Pioneer Security Agency, drove his motorcycle in the area when he was thrown off his vehicle after he hit a piece of wood.
Lagahit was then hit by a truck whose driver sped away after hitting the victim.
