THE Falcons continued to soar above in the seventh season of the Elite Basketball Club Cebu as they downed the Stallions, 58–56, Sunday night at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe.
Josephus Rusiana finished with 22 points to help the Falcons improve to a 4-0 (win-loss) slate. Raymund Tan backed Rusiana with 10 markers while Al Ray Ubod chipped in 7.
In the other game, the Seahawks edged the Wolves, 74–73. Mark Lubiano paced the Seahawks with 20 points while team capatain Joirene Salcedo added 13 as the Seahawks now hold a 3-1 record.
The Jaguars, meanwhile, improved to 2-2 after surviving the Eagles, 61–59.
Lorenzo Bacaltos and Max Steinbach finished with 15 and 12 points, respectively, for the Jaguars.
