DUMAGUETE crossfitters won two titles in last Saturday’s Rookie Pintados Games (RPG) crossfit competition held at the Ayala Center Cebu’s The Terraces.

The winners from Dumaguete were Jose Antonio and Harmon Abiera of Fitbox Dumaguete. Antonio ruled the rookie men’s division while Abiera topped the scaled men’s division.

The rookie division was for crossfitters who were starters in the sport while the scaled division was for the experienced crossfitters.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Jana Torrefiel was the lone Cebuano crossfitter who won a title after she dominated the women’s rookie division. She represented Crossfit Pintados Cebu, which is the host team of the tournament.

Runners up in the men’s rookie division were LiveFit Iloilo’s Paul Remorin and John Kevin Corbita of Unaffiliated Manila.

Second in the scaled division was Niko Aldeguer of the Revo Fitness of Bukidnon while Kobe Jo Brown of Oak Crossfit Davao settled for third place.

Crossfit Kagayan’s Ali Chiongbian finished second in the women’s rookie division followed by third placer Grace Lim of Crossfit Baguio.

The competition was part of the celebration of the “Pink October Month.” It was organized by Pero Concepts and Solutions and Crossfit Pintados of Cebu.
