KAWASAKI Motors Philippines introduced the newest Rouser RS200 machine, the new flagship model of the Rouser pack, to Cebu dealers last Oct. 28 at the Cebu Grand Convention.

Noel Z. Carrera, General Manager for Sales of Kawasaki Motors Philippines, revealed that Rouser RS200 is one of their premium solo bikes intended for sporty riders.

He said Cebu was the best place to launch the new motorcycle.

“Cebu is one of our biggest solo markets. Mostly, we sell in Cebu are solo motorbikes. This is the reason why we chose Cebu as the place where we will be introducing our newest product,” said Carrera.

The launch was graced by the Kawasaki Motors Philippines’ President and Chairman of the Board Hisashi Nishizawa and Executive Vice President for Treasury Mr. Daisuke Hata.

Holding the 21 percent market share, Kawasaki Motors Philippines has also collaborated with Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Motorcyles in producing the Rouser models and some tricycle models.

Considered to be the fifth installment of the Rouser series, the RS200 is powered by a dynamic 200cc, 4-valve, liquid cooled, triple spark engine with the newest Fuel-Injection System.

Also, the Rouser RS200 is the first full-faired machine in the entire Rouser lineup, specifically designed to lessen wind drag during high-speed running, making it the perfect bike for the sporty riders.
