THE third Elora Run dubbed “Run for Glory” will be held on Dec. 4 starting and ending in front the Elora Supermarket in Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City.

On its third year, the event continues to reach out to the community as proceeds of the race will be donated to the Nissi Academy and the Christ Faith Fellowship (CFF) Orphanage in Lapu-Lapu City.

This was revealed in yesterday’s press conference at the Elora Supermarket.

The presser was headed by Elora Supermarket owner and Dan Enrico Corporation COO Dan Villanueva. Present were race director Bien Probadora of Proactiv Race and the rest of the organizing team.

“We are very thankful that they have chosen our institution to be the beneficiary of this running event and as a way of giving thanks, we will encourage our students in Nissi Academy to take part of the run,” said Ahlen Aguilar, a volunteer of the orphanage.

The running event will offer 3-kilometer, 6k and 12k distances. Cash prizes will be given to the top five finishers in all distances. Raffle prizes await the non winners.

Around a thousand runners are expected to join the fun run that will traverse Marigondon Road to Cordova, according to Probadora.

Registration fee is pegged at P300 for the 3k, P400 for the 6k and P500 for the 12k.

Registration is going on at the Elora Supermarket, Planet Sports Pueblo Verde and Ayala Center Cebu branches, Active Zone
