Motorcycle driver killed in Lapu accident
A motorcycle driver was killed on the spot after he was ran over by a school bus past 9 a.m. on Saturday in Barangay Looc, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
PO3 Romelio Adolfo, traffic investigator of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office Traffic Division, said they had yet to identify the victim.
Initial investigation showed that the motorcycle driver was attempting to overtake a school bus when the motorcycle’s steering handle hit the steering handle of a tricycle which was on the opposite lane.
The motorcycle crashed in front of the school bus which was not able to stop on time.
The tires of the bus hit the head of the motorcycle driver, killing him on the spot.
